An exceptional place, yes its not cheap, that I feel priviledged to have stayed at. Eating outside on the patio overlooking the river and garden was fantastic. The home made granola was yummy and the portage the next days was divine too. Absolutely stunning. We really appreciated the effort the staff went to make us feel welcomed during the whole stay. Our favourite experience would have to be the solitude having our own private dining room with balcony during dinner.
Dinner, the after dinner drinks selection. The gardens were stunning and I really loved staying somewhere with iconic art and homage to the significant history of the property. Reminded me of similar fishing lodges in Scotland.
